The “Joyride”

December 29, 2008 at 7:48 pm (Relish)

Gosh… This has been planned for months and finally we manage to put it into practice… Huh…. No regrets and Full of fun and excitement.

The idea came across at a sudden to meet some old friends in Miri so since I’m heading no where during the holidays, I figure it would not kill me to have a fun ride with my girl friends to go across the state. There are a few delays in our joyride and it almost be canceled due to certain circumstances especially the rainy weather but our determination beat it all. We started our joyride on 21st of Dec heading towards Balai Ringin which is the first pit stop me and Shirley encounter. Here we unpack and reload our stuff before the joyride truly begin.

Early morning on the 22nd, Shirley drove us as early as 6.45 am to Sibu. We didn’t stop much. Only for quick breakfast at Simpang Sri Aman and fuel at Betong. We reach Sibu around 11.30 am which was earlier then what we expected. We went to Vera’s and pick her up. After Zohor we went for lunch and drove ourselves to the 1st pit stop of the Joyride which was Bintulu.

We arrived in Bintulu around 4.30 pm and looked for a decent place to spend overnight. After a few selection, we decided to stay at Mastama Inn with the rate or RM63 for a double + single bed. Not bad tough for a nite stay. They have basic necessities such as toilet and bathroom and tv. It was okay. Cleans and comfy. Well, we had a rest for few hours before me and Vera went to dinner with her friends. Shirley have to excuse for a Christmas dinner with her family and later meet us at Bintulu Waterfront with Dylen.

The next day, we started off a bit late and we left the Inn at 10.30 am. I always be the one who take such a long time to get ready and those 2 are patience enough to wait for me. Haha…

We arrived at Miri noon and planned to meet Intan at Imperial Mall. While waiting for Intan, I managed to get a hair cut which I kind of like. I cut my hair short just like Rihanna’s. huhu… We stayed at Dinasty Hotel for a nite with the government rate. We took a double single bed which cost us RM138. Well, it was pleasant as well cos we did not spend that much time sleeping.

After freshen up, 4 of us went to Tanjung and stay for sunset while enjoying our drinks and croissant from Delifrance. Did I mention there is a cute guy works at the deli’s… he is so cute. Looks young though. After maghrib, we moved from Tanjung to Muara. A dining place to meet our old friends. We had dinner and the best part was reminiscence the good old memories… It was great after years apart, we gathered in a soothing kind of way. It was worth all the drives…

The 2nd day in Miri, I went out with a bunch of kiddo and after lunch I watched the movie Twilight. I will write a post fort his movie. I love it so much even I hate the audio system in STAR in Miri. Damn. That nite we stay over at my friend house. Adeq, thank you so much for the hospitality and we love your house so much. I couldn’t sleep that nite so I watch 4 movies… heh…

On 25th of Dec, we meet Intan at Taman Awan and heading back to Bintulu and Sibu. The journey was not very nice. It was raining all the way and makes it difficult to see the road clearly. Not to mention that road was not in a tip top condition. We depart a bit late so basically it was our fault. We arrived at Sibu after Maghrib. We stay over at Vera’s and Intan go back to her parents. We went out for dinner at Bandung. Stadium Cafe. Did not see any good looking guys in Sibu. Sigh…

The joyride end on the 26th when we reached Kuching at 5.30 p.m. Basically, it was fun… coz all girls… hehe… I am lookinf forward for our next joyride…

Wishlist sequal…

December 16, 2008 at 6:28 pm (Relish)

Double mention… 2 days to go for me to turn 28… It’s not a big deal nor to be ashamed of cause every single person in this world grow older… it’s normal… Unless you really think Benjamin Button is alive, then that’s another story?

The title tells a lot. Since I already have some of the items in my wishlist, no need to mention people gave or i bought it myself, not relevent to know… well… all I can say is that, life is like that. I may have come out with various things in mind that I wish I have but in the end, that doesn’t really matter.

I bought myself the LG phone. Damn I like is so the very the much. This is my own birthday gift to myself. It took me a few visit to Wisma Saberkas, a few dreams, a folded brochure of LG KS360 phone 24/7 in my handbag, timeless day dreaming and 2 dozens of approval before I finally decided to buy that phone using my C square. I really have to do it. Imaging that I have download tonnes of wallpapers, converted dozen of video clips and cut ringtones, not to mention call the service provider asking whether they have the setting for this phone in the list and more… I even buy stuff just to diverse my intention from buying the phone and finally I gave up… I gave up… Now, I like it and not regreting it… happy momento… Best gift I ever gave myself.

I recomended my parents to get me the chanel chance for my birhtday gifts. Yeah I talk about it all the time and I even bring it as commercial in every conversation we had. It doesn’t bother me at all that I have to buy it first and my father finally reinverse. They still kept the perfume and waiting for the right moment to give it to me. I tested it once. Hehe… I don’t want to bother with how many visit and how many perfume counter I have been visited in order to get that perfume… You don’t wanna know.

The Hilly bag was not at high priority. That one is so very simple. My asked my bro to buy me and he did… Reinverse method. I dont mind. Some people say it hideous  and I like it. I dont really care what other people say.. Huhu..

The roxy wallet, that one easy too. My sisought it for me. haha… Again, reinverse method. Love this method. I love te purse so much… Best gift ever from my sis…

Basically I love all the present I manage to get for this 28th birthday. Not to mention I buy myself with tonnes of items from MNG… trust me… items means items…

I may sound materialistic and high maintanence… Maybe I do.. I think I’m average… I’m happy… can’t wait to be 28th…

September 19, 2008 at 12:42 pm (Relish)

Who says being a teacher is not challenging? Who says being a teacher makes no difference? Who says being a teacher is easy?

Teacher bring smiles to their faces… Teacher be there during their ups and downs… Teaacher makes a difference for each and everyone of them… It is not easy, but when I look in this… I know that it is worth it…

buttered chicken

Trust me on this. This meal is absolutely fabulous. My 2nd favourite after the Nestum Chicken. This place had been my weekly weekend spot for lunch. Family or friends. I guess I’m a regular now. I had introduced this place for so many people and none, not even once, did not finish their bowl of rice. Well Done Oriental Kitchen. I’ll support your business cause I can’t take it if you have to shut down business for no specific reason. I tried a few times cook this meal. Not bad, but still, I love eating it at Oriental..
